The Energy Tour
On July 20-22, 2011, members will travel by bus to the Beulah, North Dakota area to visit the Antelope Valley Power Plant and Coteau Mine. Members will also have the opportunity to visit the Dakota Gasification Plant, here you can see the process of taking coal and changing it into a gas. A few fun events have been planned including a visit to Knife River Indian Village and an evening river boat cruise on the Missouri River.
The cost of the tour is $80.00 per person. The $80.00 includes two nights at the hotel,six meals and a cruise on the riverboat. Seats on the bus will be filled on a first-come first-serve basis. An $80.00 per person deposit must accompany the coupon. If you return the coupon and the bus is already filled, your deposit will be returned and your name will be kept on a standby list in case of a cancellation. We only have 25 seats available because we will be sharing a bus with Redwood Electric members.
