E-Z Pay

South Central Electric Association is pleased to offer the E-Z Pay Payment Plan.  Now you can have your electric utility payment made automatically from your checking or savings account.  And, you won't have to change your present banking relationship to take advantage of the service.

The E-Z Pay Plan will help you in several ways:

  • It saves time--fewer checks to write.
  • Helps meet your commitment in a convenient and timely manner -- even if you're on vacation or out of town.
  • No lost or misplaced statements, your payment is always on time--it helps maintain good credit.
  • Is easy to sign up for, easy to cancel.
  • No late charges.

It takes one billing cycle to begin the automatic process.  You simply pay your electric bill this month and start next month, your bill will be paid automatically.

How do I sign up?

It's easy simply complete the authorization form and include a voided check or withdrawal slip.  Return before the 10th day of the month to begin automatic withdrawal for your next month's billing.

How will my bills be paid?

On the date shown on your bill, South Central Electric will inform your financial institution of the amount due.  That amount will be automatically deducted from your account.

How long will it take after I fill out the enrollment form for E-Z Pay Payment to begin?

The enrollment process takes one billing cycle.  When you send in your enrollment form you must also pay this month's electric bill as usual.  Your next bill will be paid automatically with E-Z Pay.

How can I be sure my bill has been paid?

Each E-Z Pay Payment will be clearly itemized on your monthly statement from your financial institution.

What if I have a question about my bill or want to stop the E-Z Pay Payment Plan?

Simply call South Central Electric with any questions or write to stop the E-Z Pay Payment Plan.

Is there a charge for this service?

No.  Plus you enjoy the additional saving of no postage to mail your bills!

You will be sent a letter after we receive the authorization with details on reporting your meter reading, using our toll-free number or e-mail.
