Energy Star Appliance Program

The Energy Star logo is given by the Department of Energy to manufacturers' products that are energy efficient. South Central Electric Association encourages the purchase of "Energy Star" appliances. South Central Electric Association does have a $25 rebate for members that purchase "Energy Star" appliances that include refrigerators, freezers, clothes washers, dehumidifiers. A member that purchases an "Energy Star" refrigerator can receive an additional $50 by recycling their old refrigerator.
