Location Number
To provide the best possible service, each location served by South Central Electric Association has been assigned a location number. This number is keyed to our map system and computer systems and helps personnel easily locate you during a power outage or if you need some other service.
Each member is important, and we want to know you by name. But we also want to find you as quickly as possible. We use a location number to help us find you when you have an outage or need other service.
The location number is made up of four numbers. The first number is the township number; the second is your section number; the third is your farm number and the last is the area office you are served by. A “1” is served by the St. James office and a “4” is served by the Jeffers office. For example a member may have a location number of 08-01-060-04. This means that this location is in Selma Township section one, and farm place #60 and is serviced from the Jeffers office.
Use your South Central Electric Association location number when reporting any outages or problems on the line. Your account number is used for any billing questions.
